At Retirement Living Plus, we believe every day should be meaningful. As our Activities Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in making that happen — designing, organising, and delivering a variety of engaging activities including creating posters, newsletters, promoting engagement with residents and doing research into what our residents enjoy.

From promoting wellbeing and lifelong learning to encouraging social connection and fun, your energy and ideas will help residents live life to the fullest. You’ll work closely with our Care Plus team to ensure every activity adds real value, enhances independence, and celebrates individuality.

This is a part-time, permanent position, working on a two-week rolling rota that includes some evenings, weekends, and bank holidays — offering flexibility and the chance to be part of a truly rewarding environment.

Skills and experience required:

  • Experience supporting and engaging with people of diverse age groups
  • A flair for planning and delivering enjoyable, person-centred activities
  • Strong organisational and project skills
  • A commitment to learning and ongoing development
  • Good computer literacy including knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Excel
  • Knowledge and understanding of email and internet
  • The ability to demonstrate discretion and confidentiality at all times

Due to the nature of this post, the role is subject to an Enhanced with Adult Barred DBS disclosure.

What we can offer you

As well as a comprehensive induction programme and excellent learning opportunities; with mandatory and specialist training available, we can offer 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. We also offer the option to join our contributory pension scheme, access to a dedicated Employee Healthcare Portal, eye care vouchers and a cycle to work scheme. To find out more, please see our Benefits Page.
