Location: Hybrid working. Travel required around Shropshire and Staffordshire
Salary: £31,255.94 per annum
Hours: 36 hours per week
Contract Type: 6 months fixed term contract

The Role:
Are you a natural storyteller with a passion for creating content that makes a difference?
We’re looking for a Communications Hero to join our friendly and talented Marketing, Communications and Public Affairs team at Housing Plus Group.
We’re a small, fast‑paced team at the heart of the organisation, shaping how we’re seen and heard, from media relations and campaigns to digital channels, publications and events. Our mission? To keep customers, colleagues, partners and stakeholders informed, engaged and proud of the work we do.
This is a hybrid role, offering flexibility alongside some travel across our operating areas to support campaigns, projects and events.
What you’ll be doing
No two days are the same. You’ll help tell powerful stories that show how we create places people are proud to call home – from delivering affordable housing to supporting communities and improving lives.
You will:
- Create compelling content across multiple channels, including press releases, case studies, articles and social media
- Promote our successes, developments and key messages to customers, colleagues, the public and stakeholders
- Support the delivery of campaigns, events and policy-related communications
- Work closely with colleagues across the organisation to bring real stories to life
What you’ll bring:
We’re looking for a confident, creative communicator who enjoys variety and thrives in a busy environment. You’ll bring:
- Experience creating content for press, digital and social media channels
- A strong grasp of current communications and digital trends
- The ability to tailor your style for different audiences
- A flair for storytelling and experience delivering multi-channel campaigns
