Job Title: Multi-Skilled Operative (Plasterer)
Salary: £36,051.38 per annum
Location: Base in Stafford with regular travel across Shropshire and Staffordshire
Hours: 40 hours per week
About the role:
We're looking for an experience Multi-Skilled Operative - Plasterer to join our Property Plus team on a full time, permanent basis. In this role you'll be carrying out high quality plastering and maintenance work across our properties, helping us deliver safe, well-maintained home and an excellent service to our residents.
What you’ll do:
As a Multi-Skilled Operative Plasterer, you will
- carry out all aspects of plastering, patching and making good, as well as other related trades (carpentry, wet trades and building finishes).
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, on-time and in line with health and safety regulations
- Manage your workload effectively from planning visits and using electronic job orders to keeping accurate records.
- Maintain tools, equipment and van stock to ensure you're always prepared for the job.
- Work professionally in tenant's homes, providing excellent customer service at all times.
- Take part in the out of hours rota (when required).
What we’re looking for:
- City and Guilds or NVQ Level 2 in Plastering (or equivalent)
- Substantial experience working at height and in planned maintenance / repairs
- Skills in related trades with the ability to 'make good' to a high standard
- Strong knowledge of health and safety practices
- Ability to use tablets and electronic scheduling systems
- A full UK Driving Licence
- Excellent communication skills, a customer-focused approach and the ability to plan your work effectively.
